The Master of Information Systems Management (MISM) from the Sever Institute at the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis is designed to help you advance with the knowledge, leadership and skills needed to understand, shape and lead as organizations increasingly expand their operations to digital platforms.
In this full time, traditional graduate program you will learn theories combined with real-world applications, strengthening your management acumen, collaborative problem solving, interpersonal communication and leadership competencies.
The MISM qualifies as a STEM program.

The 30-unit (10-course) MISM degree program is available for full time study only.
MISM courses are designed with input from employers, thought leaders and practitioners, and taught by leading professionals from throughout the information systems industry.
Students learn managerial and technical acumen required to lead an IT enterprise, including governance, IT architecture and infrastructure, service delivery, data management strategy, risk management, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Gain advanced knowledge, elevate your critical thinking and improve your ability to ask the right strategic and operational questions. As important, build a lifelong network of working professionals and become a proud member of the Washington University alumni community.
*These courses are required to earn a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Management.
Registration, Tuition Fees & Payment Policies
Qualified veterans: WashU McKelvey School of Engineering and the VA will cover 100 percent of your graduate tuition.
